Project Brief

The web development project was to create a website for DLR Leisure based on a design by Eliane Pearce. The brief outlined exactly what was required from DLR Leisure to keep their members informed of class time and event dates throughout their network in real time, and to include HD video. Centre Managers easily keep their respective centres information though our easy to use interface.

Project Management Plan

A detailed web project plan was drawn up which reviewed how the website and all its layers would interact with each other.

Draft & Revisions

The website went through a series of drafts and revisions involving all the content formats; text, image and video. It was important that the content reflected the activities being carried out in each centre.

Final Delivery

Final delivery was confirmed when a final check was carried out on all timetables, videos and delivery platforms. We carried out a series of checks on the timetables to ensure dates of activities were being picked up. We also ran checks on tablet and mobile formats to ensure the website worked correctly on each of these platforms.

Strong Brands

The new design of the website creates a strong focus on the general DLR brand but also provides a platform for the individual leisure centres to demonstrate their facilities.
